Artificial and Ephemeral Collection
Choral Society of Washington Collection
The materials included in this collection are: clippings, bulletins, correspondence, programs, tickets, financial records, meeting minutes, and printed items. The “Book of Blanks” contains an example of each item printed by the Society (programs, tickets, form letters, etc.), the number ordered, and the cost to the Society. With the exception of one folder of the earliest meeting minutes, all materials are located in bound volumes. These bound volumes have been placed in acid-free boxes
Colony Theatre Photograph Collection
The collection consists of 16 8x10 inch black and white images shot by Frederick Figall. The images are of the exterior and interior of the Colony Theatre, which was located 4921 Georgia Avenue NW in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
Greg Reynolds Dance Quintet Records
The collection contains performance programs, playbills, flyers, press releases, newspaper clippings, musical scores, correspondence, and administrative records primarily of the Greg Reynolds Quintet. Also included are correspondence, memorabilia, and other personal items of Gregory Reynolds.

Marilyn Smithson Hodgson School of Dance and Expression Photograph Collection
National Ballet Records
The records consist of trustee minutes, programs, advertisements, press releases, clippings, biographical files, promotional materials, and scrapbooks regarding the promotion and administration of the National Ballet. The collection also contains musical scores, hanging plots, stage directions, board studies, set designs, videotapes, audiotapes, microforms, and photographs which document its artistic work. The records are arranged into 12 series.
Martin Petersilia Arts Collection
Consists of programs, invitations, musical scores, correspondence, publicity, photographs, and clippings from arts organizations such as the Greg Reynolds Dance Quintet, The Women's Arts Center, Momentum Black Theater, and the Nubian League. Items from arts organizations appear first arranged alphabetically followed and then general information about the visual arts and artists in Washington. Oversized materials are in a separate box.
