The collection contains correspondence, meeting minutes, reports, financial data, and membership information which document the work and activities of the Potomac Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. It also includes a number of publications including Outdoor Advertising, Landscape Architecture Quarterly and annual reports of the Chapter.

The collection consists of 393 color and black and white photographs of DC Housing and Community Development construction projects throughout the District. Most images are of street or infrastructure projects. Of note are images of L’Enfant Plaza, playgrounds, and recreation center projects. The collection is arranged by the Department of Housing and Community Development project number.

Hambright and Hoachlander Photograph Collection
The collection consists of 30 4x5 inch black and white photographs each with a corresponding negative. In 1987 photographers Anice Hoachlander and Harlan Hambright shot these images to document buildings on the 500 block of 9th Street NW and the 900 block of E Street NW in northwest Washington, D.C. These buildings were torn down to make way for a larger office building.
