Petworth Women’s Club Collection
The collection contains programs, yearbooks, meeting minutes, reports, membership lists, correspondence, and receipts which document the activities of the Petworth Women’s Club.
Radcliffe College Black Women Oral History Project
Between 1976 and 1981 the Schlesinger Library of Radcliffe College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, conducted over 70 oral history interviews with African-American women, of which the transcripts of 8 D.C. interviews were donated to the D.C. Public Library. Topics include family background, childhood history, family, socioeconomic status, education, influences, accomplishments and the effects of sex and race on their lives. No tapes of these interviews were transferred to the Library.
Washington Club Collection
This collection consists of the Washington Club’s monthly bulletins and annual publications of the constitution and bylaws, officers and members, rules, and duties of committees.
Washington Cultus Club
The collection consists primarily of 23 booklets describing the meeting programs of the Washington Cultus Club. Names of members and their addresses are included in the final pages of each booklet. Also included is a folder of notes and clippings. A handwritten version of the program for 1948-49 can be found in this folder.

Women’s City Club of Washington, D.C. Collection
Records from the Women’s City Club of Washington, DC extend from 1924 through 1983. The collection contains by-laws, annual reports, monthly bulletins, programs, and yearbooks. Significant items in the collection are the twentieth anniversary yearbook and bulletin containing highlights, reminiscences, and the history of the club from 1919 through 1939.
Women's City Club Records
The materials are primarily meeting minutes of the Women's City Club of Washington, D.C. from 1919 through 1972. Also included are scrapbooks, photographs, clippings, and administrative records which document the Club's founding and activities.
Woodridge Book Club Records
The Woodridge Book Club collection consists of yearly handbooks from 1931 through 1964. Significant items in the collection are handbooks covering China and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) during the years of 1942 through 1946.
