This is an interview with the president of the James Creek Resident Council, Ms. Christine Spencer. The interview will provide a glimpse into Christine's passion for her neighborhood and community which has driven her to become an active advocate for the needs of the James Creek community. Ms. Spencer describes her partnership with Edgewood/Brookland Family Support Collaborative and the services that have been made available to the residents of James Creek.

The collection consists of 393 color and black and white photographs of DC Housing and Community Development construction projects throughout the District. Most images are of street or infrastructure projects. Of note are images of L’Enfant Plaza, playgrounds, and recreation center projects.
