Biographical / Historical

Rachel Sengers is a designer and photographer. She designed the cover art for albums by local punk bands, such as Marginal Man, and Liquor Bike. Additionally she was a contributing illustrator to the1980s Washington, DC zine Duckberg Times. She also contributed photographs to Banned in D.C.: Photos and Anecdotes from the DC Punk Underground (79-85), a book of photographs and stories about the D.C. punk scene originally published in 1988 by Cynthia Connolly, and compiled by Connolly, Leslie Clague, and Sharon Cheslow.
