Southwest Views Oral History Project
Scope and Content Note
Collection consists of 56 DVDs containing interviews with 47 individuals discussing topics related to Southwest DC. All interviews are conducted by Rev. Brian Hamilton of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 400 I Street, SW. One disc, entitled SW Streets, contains footage without audio of the construction of a variety of building projects in the Southwest neighborhood.

Provenance
There is no Deed of Gift or oral history release forms. It is uncertain how or when the Library acquired the collection. Several emails sent by staff to the creator in order to acquire a deed and permissions went unanswered. A nearly identical collection was gifted to the Historical Society of Washington DC in 2009 by the DC Historic Preservation Office.
Processing Procedure
Standard archival procedure were applied and all DVDs were arranged alphabetically and placed in an acid-free storage box.
