Photographs of DC-area residents and groups involved in AIDS activism, many of whom are African American. Of particular note, there is a photo of The ClubHouse, a nationally-renowned dance club for ages 16 and older that operated from 1975-1990 and was founded by the Metropolitan Capitolites; and the EnikAlley Coffee House, a meeting and performance space for the Black LGBTQ+ community that operated from 1980-1989.
