This collection comprises materials that are related to go-go music and go-go musicians, particularly artists whose music was distributed and promoted by Liaison Records. Materials include correspondence, fliers and promotional materials, ephemera, photographs, and periodical and newspaper clippings on go-go music, performers, events and culture.

This series contains photocopies of various articles relating to the emergence of Go-Go music as a recognized music genre, descriptions of Go-Go music, TTED Records head, Maxx Kidd and Chuck Brown. Clippings include articles from the Washington Post, Melody Maker,and Washington City Paper. They are arranged in chronological order.

This series also contains photocopies of undated articles about Go-Go music, Maxx Kidd and Chuck Brown.
