The collection consists of caricatures of politicians and world leaders, courtroom sketches, and two metal plates of two U.S. congressmen.

Scope and Contents The collection consists of 156 8x10 inch portraits, of which only one is in black and white. The images were used in an exhibit titled Washington’s Millennium Leaders – Through the Bachrach Lens, which was on display at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library from January 24, 2002 through April 2002. This collection is comprised of 40 web sites documenting the candidates running for various elected positions within D.C. government during the 2024 election. The websites were captured once before the June 2024 Primairy Election and once before the November 5, 2024 election.

The Arrington Dixon Papers Collection contains materials including campaign ephemera; correspondence; newspaper clippings and publications; photographs; pamphlets; and other documents related to Dixon’s political campaigns, work in city government (especially for the District of Columbia City Council), and personal life. The bulk of the collection covers 1953 to 1989.

Scope and Contents The Charlene Drew Jarvis Papers document Drew-Jarvis’s campaign for Washington, D.C.’s City Council, her time as national co-chair for the Clinton/Gore presidential campaign, and her work on the National Institute of Health Mental Health Advisory Council.
