One copy of "A Guide to Family Devotion: Containing a Hymn, a Portion of Scripture with Reflections and a Prayer for the Morning and Evening of Every Day in the Year. with an Appendix of Prayers and Hymns on various Subjects" by Reverend Rev. Alexander Fletcher (Martin, New York, 1840). Book inscribed "To Mrs. Frances Hagner [1787-1863] From your affectionable son Alexander [1826-1915] June 1850." Contains four manuscript pages consisting of multiple Hagner family names under the headings marriages, births, deaths, and miscellaneous memoranda. The Hagners were a prominent Georgetown family, many of whom are interred in Oak Hill Cemetery. Most family name entries are undated. Those that are range from 1772 to 1937.
