One-page, doubled-sided manuscript letter written by Albert, Prince Consort (1819-1861) from Windsor Castle, October 18, 1851, to Georgetown resident Charles Frederick Stansbury (1821-1882). The letter is accompanied by a gold-leafed portfolio embossed "H. R. R. Prince Albert" and a two-page donation letter dated January 8, 1945, from grandson Frederick S. Tyler to Peabody Room curator Eva Gilbert gifting the letter/portfolio.
