Seventeen high-resolution photographs of Maryland Chancery Court manuscript pages accompanied by typed transcript. Plaintiff Robert Peter (1726-1806) was mayor of Georgetown from 1790 to 1791 and he is suing defendant Charles Beatty (1730-1804) for Tiitle to Renfrew and injunction against construction of a dam at George Town.
