D.C. Oral History Collaborative (DCOHC) is a citywide initiative to train community members in oral history skills, fund new and ongoing oral history projects, connect volunteers with oral history projects, and publicize existing oral history collections. DCOHC is a project of DC Public Library, HumanitiesDC, and the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. This collection contains oral history interviews, transcripts, and indexes produced by DCOHC grantees.

Biographical / Historical

Danniece Hollins is a former Edgewood/Brookland Family Support Collaborative program participant. Ms. Hollins was born and raised in Washington, D.C. Ms. Hollins was referred to E/BFSC for housing support and resided in E/BFSC's transitioning housing program until she secured permanent housing. Ms. Hollins is currently in school to become a medical assistant. She is the parent of one child.

This is an interview with former Edgewood/Brookland Family Support Collaborative (E/BFSC) program participant Danniece Hollins, who was housed in our transitional housing program and then secured permanent housing with the support of E/BFSC's housing specialist and team.
