D.C. Oral History Collaborative (DCOHC) is a citywide initiative to train community members in oral history skills, fund new and ongoing oral history projects, connect volunteers with oral history projects, and publicize existing oral history collections. DCOHC is a project of DC Public Library, HumanitiesDC, and the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. This collection contains oral history interviews, transcripts, and indexes produced by DCOHC grantees.

Abstract
This photo captures Sandra Perrin and Michael Golash, two interviewees, at a union function in the early 2000s. Sandra Perrin served on Local 689's executive committee and was active within the union for decade. Michael Golash played a key role in the 1978 strike and served as president of Local 689 in the early 2000s.
