Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens initiated this oral history project to share the park’s history and its modern story. The project attempted to answer questions such as: What does the park mean to Ward 7 residents? What memories do Ward 7 residents have of it? How has it changed in the last few decades? How does it relate to a larger discussion of the significance of green spaces? The answers to these questions were meant to add to the established narrative of the park’s creation to produce a more complete history.
