Scope and Contents
The series documents Hobson’s efforts to obtain information under the Freedom of Information Act from the FBI, CIA, the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, and other federal agencies. Hobson sought information under the Freedom of Information Act to discover whether and to what extent investigative agencies conducted surveillance of his activities as a civil rights and peace activist.
